This course is a 300-level Social Theory course that is required for sociology majors and can be taken as an elective by other students. - Apply the sociological theory to the study of the social world from multiple levels of analysis
- Explain the human experience from a sociological perspective
- Analyze and discuss a social institution from the perspective of sociology
- Demonstrate the ability to communicate all of the above effectively, both orally and in writing
Goal Assessment(s):
- Goals 1-3 will be assessed via the weekly discussions and reading responses students must submit.
Goals 1 and 4 will be assessed via the midterm assignment.
