- Apply qualitative data analysis to examine social issues.
- Apply quantitative data analysis to examine social issues.
Goal Assessment(s):
- Students will discuss various aspects of social research and how they may relate to social life in written discussion boards (or in small and large groups).
- Students will use content analysis (open and axial coding) on qualitative data from real social research and summarize the findings in a paper.
- Students will use basic statistics (univariate, bivariate, and regression analysis) on quantitative data from real social research and summarize the findings in a paper.
