Learning Goals and Assessments

Learning Goal(s):

  1. Create a ‘gram’ based upon the principles of love as expressed by hooks in her work All About Love.
  2. Apply material from hooks to a person or situation in thier lives demonstrating understanding of the concepts
  3. Students will reflect on and evaluate the process and application of this particular social thinker to their everyday lives

Goal Assessment(s):

  1. Gram has content, verbiage, and imagery that reflects understanding of hooks’ definition and principles of love.
  2. Students have applied the material to a person or event in their life. This will be evaluated via content of the gram as well as students' oral or written explanation. A student can demonstrate this mastery without going into super detailed information if they are not comfortable with sharing personal information.
  3. There is a clear connection between theory and everyday life and students reflect on the connection in their presentation or write up.

When using resources from TRAILS, please include a clear and legible citation.
