- Learning Goal 1: At the conclusion of this lecture, students should be able to recognize the context in which the Black Lives Matter movement began. Lecture and discussion will assist in attaining this goal.
- Learning Goal 2: Students should be able to articulate some of the guiding principles of the Black Lives Matter movement. Lecture and discussion will assist in attaining this goal.
- Learning Goal 3: Students should be able to articulate a response to misconceptions that some may have about the Black Lives Matter movement.
