  1. Students will be able to describe the Bismarck, Beveridge, Out-of-Pocket, and National Health Insurance models implemented across the globe and critically analyze countries within those models.
  2. Students will be able to apply what they have learned and work together in a group to design an ideal health care system for a fictitious country.

Goal Assessment(s):

  1. This goal will be assessed through the student’s ability to answer the questions from Reid’s book and to provide an overview on the health care system of his/her choice to group members.
  2. This goal will be assessed by the student’s ability to present and thoroughly explain their ideal health care system to the class.
