Abstract

Teaching Objectives/Student Learning Outcomes:
As a result of an in-class presentation of late 1800s/early 1900s women’s fashion, students will recognize the coercive nature of fashion design by considering the probability of achieving the desired look by comparing the ideal waist size to their own.
