Abstract

Brief Description
This exercise gets students to think about gender messages in popular magazines. Instead of just looking at images of women in women’s magazines, this exercise goes further by focusing on looking at the more hidden heteronormative and gender messages about a particular gender in magazines aimed toward the opposite gender.
