Although this course is offered online, in either a summer (2 month) or regular semester (4 month) format, this syllabus can easily accommodate a face-to-face format. - Students will demonstrate competency on this goal by correctly answering questions on Exam 1. Students write a research paper centering around raising awareness about a social problem and how best to address it with a social welfare policy.
