Resources required include pins which can be purchased or made, they can also be ordered from a company such as Bizzy Box (www.Bizzy-Box.com). You can also ask students to make their own pink triangles or you can make them for students out of thick, pink construction paper. They should be of sufficient size as to be visible. Learning Goals and Assessments

Learning Goal(s):

1. Students by identifying with a stigmatized "other" will experience a reality and that has been mostly unknown and to discover what their own deeper attitudes and feelings might be towards the gay and lesbian community.

Goal Assessment(s):

1. Students will wear a pink triangle pin for one week then remove the pin in class and discuss their experiences. Non-pin wearers can discuss their experiences of non-participation. Written assignments can be developed, for pin-wearers and non-pin wearers.
