Abstract

Course content will be presented through lecture, discussion, assigned readings, projects, and films. Class attendance is important, particularly for discussion. While no one should feel forced to discuss things they are uncomfortable discussing in a group setting, each student is encouraged to contribute to class discussion every day.

1. 1.To increase knowledge in the following areas: human reproduction, sexual development, means of sexual expression, and attitudes toward sexuality.
2. 2.To identify key issues in the field of human sexuality and to determine an appropriate response to them
3. 3.To help each person in the course become more aware of his or her sexuality, including appropriate ways of enjoying and directing sexuality within a Christian value system.
