- Identify differences in the gender socialization of young men and women.
- Appreciate the impact of gender socialization on their own lives

- Students will answer questions that demonstrate an ability to articulate how media is an agent of socialization and how a sociological theory of their choosing would examine the relationship between gender and media.
- Students will discuss differences in gender socialization among young men and women in responses to specific questions, as well as in a written reflection in which they support their responses with evidence from the film and excerpt.
- Students will reflect on the impact of gender socialization in their own lives.
