- This is a sensitive topic, so need to warn students at the beginning of the class that some things may seem/be offensive but they need to keep an open mind as this is all about learning what stigma and stigmatized identities are.

1. Essay: Assesses both LOs 1 and 2. Essay prompt and evaluation rubric are provided. The essay can be used to assess the extent to which students are able to define and describe stigma, give an example of, and recognize/classify stigma in today’s society.
