Abstract

The Broadest Generalization: "The jobs that immigrants hold are jobs taken away from American citizens." In extreme form, people with anti-immigrant sentiments express this idea as, "every job held by an immigrant is one less job that a U.S. citizen can hold." But this overlooks too many important facts to be valid.
