(Kerka 2001) In this course, students prepare materials to use in applying to professional occupations or graduate schools. In addition, students gain exposure to professional networks that further occupational and academic development. And lastly, students are expected to assemble a portfolio showcasing their progress and accomplishments in ways that give them a professional and academic advantage. The portfolio is a presentation of the student’s readiness to assume the responsibilities of a professional career. ER -
