Students will identify vocabulary that is gender-biased, then create "new" vocabulary that is gender-neutral or inclusive. Students will engage in small group discussion and complete a given worksheet on the topic. This assignment is meant to follow a lecture on the social construction of gender and should be tied to discussions of class lecture and readings. ER -
