Our main lens to observe society will be race and by extension ethnicity, but we will also come to understand (at times) how they intersect with other social characteristics like gender, sexuality, social class, age, and ability. Therefore, the focus of this course is learning to think critically about issues of race and ethnic relations in the U.S. and globally. ER -
