Created by an imaginative and dedicated change-agent, one whose faith in the essential wisdom of the masses is awesome, these exercises seem to have paid off for all involved - a healthy antidote to the cynicism of many students disillusioned with democracy. Classroom review of the Connor approach, and especially of its underlying values, could make a valuable contribution to classroom thoughts about utopian political possibilities. ER -
