In one of the shows she is in a polygamous relationship with Hugh Hefner, Holly Madison and Bridget Marquardt, and in the other show she is in a monogamous relationship with Hank Baskett. Students take notes on and record examples of four functions of families from each of the shows and then analyze how the structure of the polygamous relationship or monogamous relationship impacts the experience for Wilkinson and others in the relationships. Because the same individual is in both relationship structures, it allows for a more streamlined focus on the effect of the relationship structure. }, journal={TRAILS: Teaching Resources and Innovations Library for Sociology}, author={Pendaz-Foster, Sadie}, year={2021}, month={May} }
