Students keep a "gender journal" in which they write short (1-2 pages) entries each week about their gendered experiences. These experiences are then related in class discussion and linked to class readings. Through these journal entries, students develop an interest in a topic related to gender and society and, at the end of the semester, produce a research paper on that topic. }, journal={TRAILS: Teaching Resources and Innovations Library for Sociology}, author={Hunter, Joanna}, year={2014}, month={Aug.} }
