Not only are the set of factors viewed from the combatants perspective but using sociological framework we look at interactions between other combatants, prisoners and transitioning back into society and the impacts on family and how all of these have changed between conflicts, regions and nations. In addition to the historical component, technology and the evolution of warfare are discussed along with identity, fear, cohesion, group dynamics, and family and organizational issues.}, journal={TRAILS: Teaching Resources and Innovations Library for Sociology}, author={Bowling, Kirby and Segal, David}, year={2010}, month={Apr.} }
