Abstract

Violence in Society examines the methods, patterns, and meanings of individual and collective violence. Special attention is devoted to the allied disciplines of criminology, aggression, gangs, terrorists, and the assaultive individual. This course examines the causes of violence, attitudes towards violence, and methods for controlling violence.
