  1. Students will be able to: apply the idea of sociological imagination to something very familiar; reflect on the writing process using a sociological lens; and improve writing skills by having a framework for understanding the steps in effective writing.

Goal Assessment(s):

  1. Students will engage in some megtacognition to reflect on how the sociological imagination helps them understand their own writing processes. In that process, some feedback will be provided to the instructor on the effectiveness of this class activity.
