Teaching Objectives/Student Learning Outcomes:
To make students more conscious about cultural norms related to marriage. After this class
illustration, students should be able to discuss cultural norms related to marriage patterns, apply the concepts of exogamy and endogamy, and give examples illustrating the concepts of hypergamy and hypogamy.
