Abstract

Teaching Objectives/Student Learning Outcomes:
To sensitize students to possible biases (demeanor, social class, clothes, etc.) in the decision
making of police or other agents of social control. One could with minor modification of the
class handouts also explore for sex and ethnic group differences.
