Abstract

Teaching Objectives/Student Learning Outcomes:
The purpose of this exercise is to introduce the topic of group productivity, and to demonstrate
productivity loss in brainstorming groups. This exercise illustrates the problem of production
blocking, and suggests ways to improve group productivity.
