Goal 1:
RSS is critical for systematic monitoring of new web content. Creation of RSS pages allows for exposition, arrangement, and access to resources of potential value to faculty and students.
Assessment 1:
If used in a course, students could be asked to locate, summarize, and/or synthesize relevant online content.
Goal 2:
RSS can promote diverse learning goals, including exposing users to varied resources on the Web, encouraging users to explore specific materials of interest, and helping users to stay current with journal articles, news, blog posts, and multimedia.
Assessment 2:
Students could also be asked to create RSS pages of their own, incorporating sources they find online, along with those included in model
